How we make money
Last updated 9 July 2026
BestCredit is free to use. To keep it that way, we may earn money in the ways described below. This page exists so that the commercial relationships behind the site are never a mystery — a disclosure we make in line with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) guidelines on material connections.
Affiliate commissions
When you click an Applybutton on BestCredit, you may be taken to the card issuer's application page through an affiliate or partner link. If you go on to get the card, the issuer (or an affiliate network acting for it) may pay us a commission. You never pay more because of this— the card's fees and benefits are identical whether you apply through us or directly.
Every Apply button that involves a potential commission is marked with a short disclosure near the button.
What never changes for money
- Ratings and rankings are independent. Cards are scored by the published formula on our methodology page— fees, reward rates, caps and benefits verified against the issuer's own pages. Commission rates play no part in the score, and a card with no commission for us can and does outrank cards that pay us.
- Coverage is not for sale. Issuers cannot pay to be included, excluded, or re-ranked.
- Sponsored content, if we ever run it, will be labelledclearly as "Sponsored" or "Partner" content, per ASCI guidelines.
Advertising
We may show display advertising in future. Ads are visually distinct from editorial content and never influence which cards we recommend.
What we are not
BestCredit is an independent information and comparison service. We are not a bank, an NBFC, a lending service provider or a direct selling agent of any issuer, and we do not provide personalised financial advice. Card details can change at the issuer's discretion — always confirm the current terms, fees and eligibility on the issuer's website (linked from every review) before applying.
